Nets star Kevin Durant sent homophobic and sexist private messages to entertainer Michael Rapaport
Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant has been fined $50,000 for utilizing hostile and disdainful language via online media, it was reported today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations. Durant has recognized that his activities were wrong.
The class commonly acts so unequivocally in these cases just when somebody's language gets public and welcomes adequate backfire.
That occurred with Durant when Rapaport posted screen captures. By then, if any alleviating setting existed, it got lost. Whatever Durant proposed, his words intensified homophobia and sexism to more extensive crowds.
Durant said yesterday, "I'm heartbroken that individuals seen that language I utilized. That is not actually what I need individuals to hear and see from me."
